We started with a crisp, low-caffeine Oolong tea to balance the creamy, caramel-like flavor of Creme Brulee. Combined they make for a delectable cup of tea that’s perfect hot with a dash of milk, or iced.
Ingredients: Low Caffeine Formosa BT Oolong, Almond Pieces, Cinnamon Chips, All Natural Flavor, Jasmine Flowers.
Creme Brulee is not my thing, so I wasn’t terribly surprised this tea wasn’t either. The sweetness was light, and I could kind of get the almond. I smelled the cinnamon more than I tasted it. The aftertaste had a surprising floral note, which was less surprising when I noticed jasmine flowers at the end of the ingredients list.
This was interesting, just not my preference.
