Matcha-Style Powdered Green Tea is made from the same yabukita tea plant varietal as our other fine greens. The finished tea is finely milled to produce a smooth, silky powder that dissolves easily in hot or cold water.
The infusion is incredibly tasty — rich and earthy but less bitter than conventional matcha, and slightly sweet.
To brew hot, use the provided measuring spoon to add a small spoonful to a cup or mug filled with hot water. Mix briskly and enjoy. To brew cold, add one or two small spoonful to a bottle or other sealable container, seal, then shake briskly.
(Some settling may occur in cold-brewed tea. When that happens, simply shake the tea again.)
You can even incorporate green tea into your culinary life—simply sprinkle a spoonful onto any dish right before eating, or add it during the cooking process, for a delightful, tasty touch of green tea goodness.
Each resealable packet contains 95 grams of powdered tea, enough to make literally gallons and gallons of brewed tea.
