A few primal, wild, rarely cultivated tea plants still exist on Peace Mountain in northern Thailand.
They are the source of this grand black tea whose large, carefully worked leaves are dried immediately after oxidation in order to retain their original yet elegant appearance. The graceful red liquor is extremely mild, free of all bitterness, and has a flowery, fragment taste of chrysanthemum and rose.
A unique, surprising tea, marvellous in the afternoon or at the end of the day.

Steeped, it still gives off the same aroma, but the taste is completely different. The floral accents are just the surface. Beneath lies a very strong, very tasty black tea, full-bodied. Kind of like if you mix a Yunnan black tea without the astringency and bite, and a Dianhong without the fruitiness. Not sure if this makes sense. What I mean is that if you like Chinese black teas, give this one a try as well.
