Our 2021 crop of Silver Strand is a true delight for lovers of classic Chinese green tea. Well-balanced sweetness, umami, creamy/buttery and vegetal notes with hints of melon and honeysuckle. While this, like any green tea, can have a propensity toward astringency with longer steeps, we find that the smoothness of the silky mouthfeel makes it quite palatable and enjoyable and love this tea brewed grandpa style!

Watch as the tightly rolled leaves expand during brewing, dancing in the water, the buttery rich aroma making your mouth water, ready to sip. Harvested and processed with great care in early March 2021 in the Yunnan province of China, we are excited to offer this very nice green tea. Enjoy!
