The Organic Golden Monkey Tip Black Tea in this blend is from a rainforest wildlife preserve in the mountain village of Jinao Yunnan, China. Very close to the Burmese border, this village is a beautiful paradise filled with wild elephants and traditional tribal art and dance. One of the last traditional villages to remain focused on their craft, the people are rebels to modern life and live close to the earth and in harmony with the ancient tea trees that surround them. Like Aquarians, they are not likely to conform, and they keep their art at the center of their community.

My Aquarian Moon had full ownership of this blend, as did my beloved Aquarians, who I am so lucky to have in my midst.
This blend is to help our beloved Aquarians with keeping their head in the clouds, and their feet on the ground. Cerebral and sensitive, I added Vanilla Bean from India which has 15% L-Dopa concentrate—the precursor to the neurotransmitter Dopamine. Because Aquarians are technology wizards, this addition will keep them from becoming addicted to the Dopamine hits from social media and online activities.

This tea is 90% tea buds and only 10% leaf, giving it a lighter, caramel hue and almost no tannins for a smooth steep that leads to a maple-like infusion with a hint of spice & dates.
With such carefully grown and harvested tippy-tea, there is a preciousness to the cup which is elevated by the deep base notes of the world’s finest Vanilla Beans.
The certified organic 12-month aged Vanilla Beans come directly by air (for freshness) to us from small orchid growers in Madagascar. These are grade A, carefully 12-month cured Vanilla Beans.
Mucuna Pruriens are rich in dopamine’s precursor, L-Dopa which has been used in natural healing for enhancing mood, increasing stamina, and aiding circulation.

Zhena has really stepped up her game with most of them. The bases are usually higher quality teas, and they can be affordable if you don’t get the jars. I’ve actually drank the blended blacks from this company more often than my straight ones. I still drink my oolongs frequently, but I’ve plowed through the Bohemian breakfast and this particular sample-hence getting the full 6 oz amount.
Mmm… I’ll keep that in mind for a possible 2023 order :)
