This tea is very nice. It’s delicate and soft. It tastes pleasant. It’s not, like, riveting or exciting or something I’d scream about from the rooftops, but it is a gentle thing to sip at while doing a project.

I just wish I’d picked another day for this, because it’s raining, and I need something that’s going to show up and kick my ass like a drill sergeant today.

Also, unrelated: the word “sergeant” is not spelled the way I thought it’d be in my head. Nope. English is, without question, one of the most complicated languages there’s ever been.

EXCEPT THE LANGUAGE OF LOVE, OF COURSE.

This was a delicate flavored tea. I had it before bed and I think it was the perfect tea for that time. In both the dry leaf and the brewed liquor, there is this faint undertone of melon. The first steep, I didn’t get too much of the melon flavor, mostly the white-green tea blend. The next few steeps however is where the melon came out to play. I imagine this is because the dehydrated melon pieces in there didn’t get fully saturated upon the first steep.

It is interesting because when I think of melon, my mind automatically associates watermelon. But this was more of a cantaloupe melon. Less juicy and more of an earthy rind type of cantaloupe/melon flavor. I apologize if that makes it sound bad. It isn’t. It is just a bit different than what my mind conjured up upon reading Melon Punch.

I would recommend this tea as long as you aren’t expecting a fruit punch type of watermelon flavor.

Why does dried melon cost as much as jewelry?
Two white teas with one green tea was selected to merge with my melon.
I’m going to dry so many melons in the future!
