From Liquid Proust Teas

This is a very special maocha from wild trees that has a natural lemon flavor. Over the years it has soften up from the ‘yesheng’ bite. This gives it a whipped feeling in not just the initial sip but somewhat mouthfeel.

The only issue I find with this is that while the upfront flavor is lemon with the slightest hint of rose in the wild flavor… the aftertaste is sadly reminiscent of cherry- I hate, absolutely hate, cherry.

Funny little tea. No time for qi or that buzzy uncomfortable thing purple leaves sometimes do. Almost behaves more like a green — very little time needed to open up, flavor climaxes all at once, I’m left wondering where that came from and where it went and did it actually just taste like a grilled lemondrop cocktail?

Probably.
