True to Indian tea tradition where this style of tea is served on the streets by chawallahs. In India this is known as “masala chai” (spiced tea). This spiced tea is definitely a classic and is usually served hot with lots of milk and sugar, but this is mild enough to enjoy straight. This version blends orthodox style black tea with some of the traditional India chai spices (masala) and extras that include almonds and rose petals for a tasty cupful. Enjoy it straight, with a sweetener such as honey or sugar, or even in the Indian manner with milk and sugar.
