DRY TEA: Very finely sorted full-sized buds make up the light green tea.
INFUSION: Leaves unfold into a lovely lemon green, with a sparkle exuding the strength of this product. The nose is a fragrant floral bouquet with fruity undertones.
CUP: The liquor is pale green with a wholesome floral flavor and a sweet aftertaste.
BREWING TIME: A tea spoon a cup. Steep in near-boiling water for 3-5 minutes.

I find myself a wee bit disappointed by this tea. Not that it is a bad tea – it isn’t. I guess I’ve been a bit spoiled by some of the Darjeeling teas that I’ve been drinking lately and so I expected more of a Darjeeling flavor from this, that is to say, I wanted Muscatel.
This is more reminiscent of a fine Dragon Well. Nothing wrong with that, I just expected more Darjeeling. It’s kind of a Chinese tasting green tea from India, I guess. Not bad though.

After infusing the color is a warm lemon/lime. The flavor is almost savory. Semi brothy, a cross between veggies and flowers but not a stale floral flavor – a very nice one. I would say more vegetal than floral. It fairly velvety on the tongue too!
This is VERY nice! The more I drink the more I think – this maybe one of my fave green darjeelings to date!
