The first of many samples from my order! I was considering the Friday Afternoon advent, but it was just a bit too pricey for me, having never tried any of her teas. But then the Studio (Ghibli) sampler came back in stock, and of course I had to jump on it! And then the Fall sampler came along as well, not sure how that happened… ;)

So this is the first tea I’m trying from the fall box. I was surprised that the dry leaf smelled quite a bit like cucumber? And I’m actually tasting cucumber as well. I guess it must be the apple, but it’s tasting more like cucumber or perhaps honeydew to me, which is throwing me off a bit. Melon and warming spices is a somewhat odd combination ha ha, not bad but not what I was expecting.

So not one I would order. A shame because I quite like the level of spice here, it’s more of an accent to the fruit. Unfortunately that fruit is melon and not apple to my tongue. :P
