This tea was made by Menghai Factory in 2003 and given the name “Golden Needle White Lotus”. It was purchased by an acquaintance of ours and stored in his Kunming warehouse since then. The storage has been very clean, allowing the fermentation flavours to dissipate. It’s composed entirely of buds and small leaves, giving a concentrated flavour and creamy character.

pretty decent for shou, though not in the dirt cheap range like purple mark or something. will enjoy the sample, but prob not repurchase. i have enough mediocre tea to last an average American’s lifetime since I can’t have an office set up and don’t get much except weekend sessions anymore.
