From English Tea Store

A malty second flush Assam, our Borengajuli Estate Tea boasts a jammy like flavor that can only be tasted in premium teas. This tea comes from the Mangaldai region of North East India, and delivers a pungent flavor.

This Assam Borengajuli Estate Tea is classified as FBOP, or Flowery Broken Orange Pekoe. This means that the tea is made up of the end bud and first leaf of each shoot. The term “broken” means that the leaves are shorter, and therefore have a faster infusion time.

For the best brew, Borengajuli Estate tea should steep in water that has been brought to a rolling boil for 2-5 minutes.

98% or more of this tea comes from estates that are part of the Ethical Tea Partnership. The ETP is an initiative started within the tea industry to monitor and regulate living and working conditions on estates around the world.
