From English Tea Store

Bella Coola Herbal Tea boasts a delicious blend of orange and pineapple flavors combined with the natural flavors and tartness of various dried fruits. The result is a summertime memory – any time of the year!

For a summery drink, Bella Coola iced is hard to beat. It is refreshing and thirst quenching, but not overly sweet. For formal times, garnish the glass with a strawberry and a sprig of mint – for non formal times pour it into your glass and enjoy it gulp after gulp!

If you have small children, use the Bella Coola to make popsicles – they taste great and contain very little sugar.

By virtue of the fact that these blends do not contain any tea and are a special blend of fruits and herbs – they are caffeine free! An additional benefit is that these “teas” contain Vitamin C. What could be better than a healthy drink that tastes great?

For the best brew, Bella Coola should steep in boiling water for 5-7 minutes.

Ingredients: hibiscus petals, rosehip chips, dried apple pieces, dried sweet orange peel, natural flavors.

If you are looking for a very juice-like tisane, this one is excellent. The taste is mostly orange and pineapple, but it somehow more complex than that. I was concerned that this would just taste like warm orange juice or Tang, fortunately it doesn’t. Not too tart, just right. I would definitely buy this one again. Prepared with stevia.

Does it seem like AJRimmer sent me endless samples yet?!  Thanks again, AJRimmer!   But WHAT am I doing steeping up another cup of hibiscus.  I needed at least a week.  It probably hasn’t been a week.   This will be a boring note as YES this is heavily hibiscus, but there is also a sweet note of strawberry flavoring to balance the tart out, so it wasn’t overwhelmingly tart.  So thanks, strawberry!  However, the description for this tea never mentions strawberry, rather orange and pineapple, which I’m not tasting at all.  I think the second steep was a bit too weak, but that’s my fault. A bit boring, but not hibiscus overload.
Steep #1 // 1 1/2 teaspoons //  20 minutes after boiling // 2 minute steep
Steep #2 // many minutes after boiling?  // 4-5 min steep

I think most of the things I sent you, I hadn’t tried yet, so I didn’t realize they’d be so not great. I’m glad this one wasn’t too hibiscus-heavy at least!

oh no, I hope that isn’t discouraging you more with these teas!

AJRimmer

Ha no, I largely agree with your opinions on these, and I either forced myself to finish them or threw them in traveling tea boxes already. Some of these brands I won’t buy from again after being disappointed though.

OH, I see what you mean, my early-morning brain thought you hadn’t tried them YET, but you meant you hadn’t tried some of them before you sent them to me, but by now have tried them. :D

And it’s completely fine if I’m not in love with some of them… it’s why I love the two serving samples and then I’m not left with a ton of tea. Always happy to sample anything!

I guess I pictured blueberry with a name like this, but the flavor was definitely mostly hibiscus/red fruits. I had it warm, which probably wasn’t optimal, but it was all right. Nothing revolutionary, just another fruity tea.

My husband’s favorite (and that’s saying something, since he doesn’t like many teas)!
