I had this from a box of tea sachets that I got at Home Goods awhile back when I was in a pinch for new tea…. (definitely don’t have that problem now!)

I didn’t get any of the cinnamon or clove spiciness at all from this tea. It was just fruity to me. Definitely on the more tart end of the fruity spectrum too, which I think is due to the hibiscus. It reminded me a bit of the Adagio Blood Orange tea that I have in my cupboard.

It was alright, but I’m not sorry it was the last sachet of it.

Backlog:

I was a little worried before I sampled this because when hibiscus is the first ingredient … I worry. I don’t like hibiscus.

But this isn’t too bad. I steeped it for 5 minutes, and this kept the hibiscus’s power at a minimum. It didn’t taste too thick or syrupy or tart.

The spice notes are nice and I like that contrast to the sweet, fruity tones. A tasty, tropical “fruit chai.”
