Cultivated in the open air countryside of north-east India, the environment that the tea grows in is brought out by its unique rolling process, the grains & earth apparent in it’s taste. This green tea is treated by hand to minimize the bruising and heat damage that occurs in other procedures. Leaves are gently twisted into a crescent shape, avoiding cutting the plant and thus retaining more flavor.

A crisp mineral tone, with a herbal suggestion of cut greens.

Organic Darjeeling green tea
PREPARATION:
Unlike other teas, green tea should not be prepared too hot, or you risk burning the tea and adding a bitter element to the brew. 3g per 200ml of water at 60-70C for 2-3 minutes is recommended. Can be re-steeped 2-3 additional times. Thereafter, new tea should be added.
