Second steep, I’m getting more ginger. A welcome change.

This is unlike any other green tea blend I have tried. The sea buckthorn is really noticeable and goes really well together with the ginger, blackberry, apples and pineapple. It’s a nice change from other green teas and I am enjoying it and will order more.

I was so hesitant to try this tea because I thought the ginger might unfavorably tip the scales.

I’ve only had one tall glass (about 2 cups) of this over ice, but I really enjoyed it.

This tea reminds me of one of my all-time favorite DT blends, Redberry Tonic. The sea buckthorn flavor comes through so nicely, even though this is a green tea. I did get a bit of ginger at the tail-end of each sip, but I didn’t find it offensive or overpowering. I didn’t get a lot of pineapple, thankfully, but I’m sure it, along with the apple pieces, contributed a bit of sweetness to compliment the tart sea buckthorn berries.

It’s probably way too early to tell if this is a winner, but so far so good. I’ll finish the rest of my 1-ounce bag before deciding to stock up.

Another in-store sample at another location. Not nearly as sweet this time, but pretty much forgettable. I don’t seem to be having any luck with this tea.

F is for… Forever Flawless!

Not a favourite, although the ginger here is at a decent level. I just want to be able to really taste the base in a flavoured green, and not have it be sweetened; this tea satisfies neither of these.

I have a love/hate relationship with this tea. I love the fruity pineapple flavor but dislike the ginger combined with it. However, I still managed to finish my cup as I kept going back for more for some strange reason.

This is the only one I liked out of the new release, it’s nice with a little sugar in it. I can definitely taste the apple, and the other fruits in it as well. The green tea gives it a light taste to it. I like it.

Thought this one would grow on me the same way Redberry Tonic did, but I’m kind of moving in the opposite direction? I had it iced the other day and it just was not working for me. The more I drink it the more I pick up on the ginger and that’s just such a deal breaker. Oh well; you can’t love them all and I’ve had pretty good success with the rest of the collection so I’m not overly hurt about the fact this one just isn’t right for me.

Friendly reminder that I do not numerically rate DAVIDsTEA blends as I’m currently employed there and it would be an obvious conflict of interest. Any blends you see with numerical ratings were rated prior to my employment there. These reviews are a reflection of my personal thoughts regarding the teas, and not the company’s.
