Smells sweet but tastes a little bitter but not bad. You can taste the spices and they are strong but in a satisfying way instead of it being distracting.

The Tea Nation has this orange spice black tea and it is superb. I only wish I could buy it easier. The only place I know that sells it is Ollies and they run out regularly. (:
