Aloe vera is the latest health and beauty craze, and it’s easy to see why. So we hopped on the aloe vera train, blended bits with sweet fig and fresh green tea to bring you an earthy yet sweet tasting tea.

Citizen Tea had a free shipping sale last weekend so I decided to check out a few samples. This was among the bunch that I ordered. Both cactus and fig are flavors that intrigue me so I figured why not.
It’s actually quite lovely. It’s got a nice sweet fig taste atop the smooth green base. Not sure if it is the cactus or the aloe but there is also a little bit of a fresh taste here that is ever so slightly minty. Just a touch of grass from the base and you got a pleasant enough tea. I don’t know if it is one I would need to keep stocked but it’s nice while I have it.
