Dark silken needles of young spring tea, bursting with a flowery aroma.
Sensational sweet green tea from the first spring picking in May. These high-grade sencha leaves are flat, silken, emerald-green needles, steamed at a low temperature. This creates a fantastically smooth, soft flavour with a delicious flowery vegetal aroma, hence the name ‘Midori No Kaori’ meaning green aroma.
Use around 3g of tea per cup (200ml) and brew no hotter than 60°C (140°F). Steep for 2-3 minutes and infuse several times.
