Cafedirect Everyday Tea is a high quality, full-flavoured black tea blended to give a traditional English taste.
Each pack contains 80 round tea bags packed in 40-bag foil wrappers to keep the tea as fresh as when it was picked. A wonderful, rosy, and chestnut brew direct from fair trade producers to you.

I found some individually wrapped teabags of this tea in a drawer, so why not use them now I´m more or less confined to heating up the water for the tea in the microwave? ;-)
I admit I needed to google the brandname, as I thought the name of the tea was “Cafédirect Hand-picked Tea”, the teabag doesn´t mention the everyday bit as the box of the loose teabags obviously does.
A mix of African origin tea tends to be strong and malty, but this isn´t what I notice when having it; no, a refreshing, citrusy taste comes through… different, not exactly my cuppa though.
What I do value : the mother company is obviously more into coffee, and offer interesting single origin coffees, and I long to check out their podcast as well…

Not a lot to say about this one, since it’s a fairly ordinary breakfast-style blend. It’s quite distinctive compared to those I usually drink, being less malty and more citrussy. It’s pretty strong; it really feels like you’re drinking something substantial, and (fortunately!) it is helping me to wake up this morning. It’s a slightly unusual blend – Ugandan, Tanzanian, and Kenyan – but I suppose that’s what you’d expect from CafeDirect.
I’m not sure whether this is even something I can purchase, since I think it’s largely used for catering, but if I did find it in a supermarket then I’d happily pick up a box. It’s bold, refreshing, and pleasantly different from the usual run of things.
