From Butiki Teas

This delicate tea pairs our lovely Doke Silver Needle with vibrant amaranth petals and a natural watermelon flavor. We highly recommend drinking this tea warm or with sugar to bring out the natural watermelon flavor. At a high temperature the flavor is not as strong. At a warm temperature, this tea is light and refreshing and starts out with fruit and honey notes that quickly develop into juicy watermelon notes that linger. Add a little sugar and the tea bursts with a natural juiciness that tastes like fresh watermelon juice.

Really lovely! Smells like juicy watermelon and tastes like juicy watermelon. One of the best white teas I’ve had. Nothing but love for this one!

The lovely TeaNTees sent me some of this. I’m in love. The watermelon flavors and the white tea work so well together. Who would have thought! I’m savory what I have right now and enjoying it with a Laffy Taffy. Such a good afternoon treat!

Thank you TeaNTees!!!

:( I can’t find a place to purchase amaranth petals, they look so pretty!
This is a pretty nice tea, the balance of watermelon to the white tea taste; fantastic.
Unfortunately, watermelon flavoring just isn’t good from my experience with over six different watermelon teas and that is the same situation with this. While overall the tea is great, the flavoring isn’t what I would want a lot of.

I had the second steep of this blend iced. It was still sweet and watermelon-y, but the base tea had much more presence than in the first, hot steep. It was a bit grassy and drying. I liked it better the other way.

This is SO delicious. Oh man it is so good. Just what I needed to perk me up after a pretty crappy couple days. If you like cantaloupe and cream you will love this. Heck, I think it tastes as juicy and smells more fragrant than the typical watermelon.
