CHAGA CHAI (Wild Harvested Manitoba Chaga / Organic Cosmos Chai)

Chaga is a medicinal mushroom that grows on birch trees (here in Canada) and has been used in traditional medicine for thousands of years. Compared to other plants, Chaga contains one of the highest levels of anti-oxidants which has boosted its popularity as a natural cancer treatment. Chaga has potent immune supporting properties because of its immune stimulating phytochemicals. It also contains betulinic acid and super oxide dismutase which protect against oxide damage and neutralize free radicals in the body! Regular use of this tea has been said to alkalize the body, calm the nervous system, cleanse the liver and kidneys, eliminate unwanted metals from the body, prevent early aging, repair DNA and also improve adrenal function!

We’ve blended our wild Manitoba harvested Chaga with a beautiful Ayurvedic mix of only the finest golden tip tea and organic spices. With hints of orange, cinnamon, ginger and green cardamom – this tea brings you coziness in a cup.

Chaga has an abundance of B vitamins and this tea is slightly caffeinated so enjoy this in the afternoon or early evening, as it might keep you awake if consumed too late in the day.

This is a killer chai made with wild harvested Canadian bits. It is higher on the spice level, yet crisp and refreshing due to the lemongrass and orange. This chai also has chaga mushroom, which adds an interesting nutty depth. This chai is great without milk or sugar, and does not getting bitter even with oversteeping. Oversteeping will turn very spicy though.
