Who doesn’t love cookies & cream? We know we do! Well now you can combo the taste of dunking the famous ‘black & white’ biscuit in your tea, with the actual tea itself!

This loose leaf black tea blend has the creamy notes of the centre of the cookie, & the biscuity chocolatey notes of the outside, all combined with a good old cuppa. Perfect for if you’ve got a sweet tooth, or want to give your standard brew a bit of fun.

There’s a weird fakeness in here that I can’t quite place. But also…it does slightly remind me of cookies and cream. Ha maybe the artificial-ness of that weird flavor is managing to make me think of the cream in an Oreo, which of course is vegan and made of who knows what. So this tea isn’t bad, but it’s a little fake for me. Decently well executed and accurate tasting with some sweetener and milk. The last time I had this, I tasted the popped rice quite strongly.

I mostly got chocolate and popped rice from this one. Pleasant enough, but not really “cookies & cream” in my opinion.

The dry leaf aroma is starting to get really weird with this tea so I was super nervous to brew it up, but the cup was actually totally fine. No funk to it at all, so not sure why the leaf smells so peculiar. It’s still learning towards more of that chocolate liqueur/chocolate flavouring direction than actual chocolate, and the popped rice toastiness is also still stronger than the cream notes. So, sticking with my original “chocolate genmaicha” assessment. Still tasty, though!
