From ATTIC Tea

Green tea is thought to refresh and rehydrate you. Packed with antioxidants it is thought to help rejuvenate all internal functions, making it our No.1 tea for boosting immunity.

There are times when you need help with soothing and calming an over-worked immune system. Elderfower and lemongrass are known for their expectorant and anti-infammatory properties and thought to offer relief from hay fever and sinusitis, relaxing the over-active immune response to allergens.

Yarrow, lemongrass and elderfower are all thought to gently promote perspiration, cooling down the body and helping eliminate toxins. So, along with their expectorant nature, these herbs combine well as a great tonic for the early stages of coughs, colds and fevers, whether summer or winter.

Backlogging a cold steep of this from Wednesday (I think?)!

I got this in a trade with adagio breeze (thank you!)

Sweet and lemony with a very light veggie/broccoli-esque note from the green tea and an even lighter nondescript floral note. Didn’t much care for the aftertaste, though, and I’m having a hard time getting past that.

’Here’s Hoping’ traveling teabox Round #2 // Tea #30
Maybe this would help with the mild headache I’ve had for three days. Elderberries remind me of The Walking Dead now… and poor Hershel! It’s tough to tell from the description what should be in this blend, but it looks like mostly lemongrass. There should be green tea here, I think, but I only see like two green tea leaves in my teaspoon. The flavor tastes like something that should be giving allergies, though I’m not sure what that is. It almost tastes like pine or dill and I should be sneezing. But it sure tastes like a cup that should be fighting sicknesses.

I’ve been picking teas for the teabox – I’m using the ‘my highest rating’ function on my Steepster cupboard to make sure I’m adding some good ones.
