Good, not too much ginger but a little weak for me

Adventaggedon Day Twelve – 2/5

Made this one as a travel mug to drink on the way to work. Not really a lot to say about this blend as the taste was very straight forward. It reminds me heavily of DT’s Super Ginger, but with a hint of non descript fruit taste in the undertones. Very similar intense ginger on the rooibos base, though.

Will say, ginger was a nice warming choice to sip on during my commute though. All the snow has melted here in Montreal and we’re back to (dying) green grass – but it still feels like Winter in terms of temperature. It’s kind of weird.

Tasting Notes:
Dry Leaf Smell: ginger citrus
Liquor: translucent light orange yellow
Steeped Tea Smell: ginger pepper
Flavor: woody, pepper, light ginger
Aftertaste: slow low ginger burn

Post-Steep Additives:
honey
delicious sweet and peppery and gingery dessert!

Re-Steep:
worked well!

For something called double ginger i would have expected a bit more, but it is present and delicious

3=I might purchase this tea from time to time, or select it while out
4=A staple in our cupboard from now on, I will purchase and keep purchasing
