Brewed this up on the stovetop using almond milk. Delicious and creamy as usual, a great tea to start with after being stuck under my brother’s Tea Purist Iron Thumb for a couple of days. Didn’t get as much cheesecake as I usually do, but then I also slurped it right up, so perhaps I wasn’t paying enough attention.
This has been a tea I am drinking every day. I hope Frank blends another amazing chai soon. Maybe that is what the special Christmas tea blend is? I can’t wait find out what that blend will be.

I wonder if orange and chai would work. I like orange spice teas, and orange chocolates. Maybe a tea that tastes like the Chocolate oranges you hit on a hard surface to break off the sections? Plus chai spices? Yummy!
I think an orange flavored chai would be awesome. Or..chocolate orange chai? Too much? I’m not sure. :)

Ooooh GUILT TRIP! I like it! Not that Frank wants us to cry, but I threatened that w/ the Cucumber Melon and it didn’t work… :,(
When I was in college, I had a crying fit over my senior thesis paper (incapatible software, school had new version, parents had old, I had a breakdown because I didn’t think I’d get it finished, etc). My dad brought me a laptop home the next day.

I will typically reblend just about anything if you are willing to purchase a minimum of one pound. If you really want a pound of it, I will get to work on it (going to be blending a bunch of things today anyway).

Frank, sign me up for a pound of the cucumber melon in Jan. I need a bit of time to get the funds and that gives you time to get a hold of the cucumber- I know that isn’t easy for you. Could you make a cucumber (or cucumber + another flavor… melon? wasabi?) matcha at the same time?
I’m afraid the cucumber is a bit of a different deal. I don’t have any more cucumber flavoring and would have to buy enough for 800lbs of tea to get it. Probably not going to happen any time soon.

I actually do still have 2 ounces of the breakfast blend – I just went and checked on it. I think I had taken it off the website because I thought I was out of the 2 ounce tins… but I’m not. So… I’ve reactivated this item if you want it!

I made this using the stovetop method, which I have never done before. I was nervous, having read some horror stories of curdling milk lately. I could tell I was doing something right when I licked the spoon. Oh boy, this was gonna be good.
This tastes like regular chai to me (which is delicious and super decadent). I definitely taste the vanilla, but the cheesecake not so much. The spices taste fairly muted, so perhaps I should add more leaf next time. It will be interesting to compare the chocolate version of this, which Meghann M also kindly sent.
This is one of the more delicious drinks I’ve ever made. Today has been a good, good day.

Yay! Glad the preparation and tea worked well for you. I think I best wait a week or so to avoid any milk mishaps. I wish there were more cheesecakey flavor to this. Maybe it will be found in the chocolate version.

This is a delightful chai! Not as robust as some of 52Teas other chai blends, but, it more than makes up for it in sweet, creamy vanilla bean-y and cheesecake-y flavor! The cheesecake is a little more withdrawn than the vanilla flavor, but I can taste a very subtle tangy note.
Frank… if you’re reading this (and I know you are!) You should DEFINITELY include this in the 12 Days of Christmas package this year. :)
I didn’t get a strong vanilla flavor nor a cheesecake feel. It was there but I had to really concentrate. I usually prefer keeping my thoughts at a minimum while drinking tea. However, if it was labeled with a different name say… Creamy Smooth Chai I would have agreed. Don’t get me wrong this tea is yummy but not what I expected based on the name on the label. It is has a medium/light body, super smooth, not a hint of bitterness, and just mellow. The chai spices are blended perfectly. However, I am giving it a lower point value only because it wasn’t what I expected based on the label not because of the flavor, it was good.
Star Trek brunch. This tea smells really good. Mostly like spices, but some like vanilla. It makes for a creamy vanilla chai.
Don’t really taste any vanilla beans or cheesecake.
I’m thinking that the cheesecake flavor may come across stronger thru vanilla than chocolate- or at least I hope it does.
Like the chocolate, this has no large green cardamom pods- so that’s a few points off right there. The aroma is extremely light- definitely not a “smack ya in the face” tea. And like the chocolate, the liquor is a light reddish brown- possibly lighter than the chocolate, but I’m not sure w/o doing a side by side.
1 heaping tsp (only 3.3g!)/6oz, hot and clean
Wow. This tea is disappointing. VERY little, if any, vanilla,…no cheesecake… very little spice. The black tea base has absolutely no problems coming thru the flavors- in fact it’s by far the strongest- but even the mouth feel and flavor are quite watery. A very smooth, light black tea w/ just a faint touch of spice. I hope these 2 are better w/ milk.
Oh, what a sweet way to break up the day! After I dragged my husband around our local antique mall (no die-for teapots, sadly!) we needed something to perk ourselves back up with. This did the job perfectly. The first sip, sans additives, had me a little worried but a bit of sweetener and a dash of milk transformed it into a much richer treat. I don’t really taste the tang of cheesecake, but it does make for a creamy vanilla chai. Thank you, Short Sorceress, for the opportunity to try this great tea!
