Tea of the Week for March 7, 2022!

I had high expectations for this tea when it came out of curing & I was not let down – not in the slightest! This tea is amazingly good!

Organic genmaicha blended with coconut & organic maple & rice pudding essence. There’s even some maple syrup blended in this amazing concoction!

Smooth, sweet & delicious – your taste buds will delight in the flavors of maple, coconut & creamy pudding notes with a background of roasty-toasty, fresh-tasting genmaicha. So much yumminess in one cup! It’s organic, vegan, gluten-free & all natural!

52teas really knows how to do maple teas. They’re always excellent. Here, there’s a perfect combination of delicious authentic maple and also roasted rice. I enjoyed this with sugar and milk. The resteep was basically just the toasted rice, which is perfectly nice. I don’t taste much coconut, which I’m fine with. I accidentally got my teas mixed up and totally brewed this wrong one time, but it was thankfully super forgiving.

This cup was a little thin in mouthfeel but the flavour excellent. Like a maple cotton candy but grounded by cozy toastiness from the Genmaicha itself. Not overly sweet but not without substance to the sweetness present either.

Not in alphabetical order of company to try unopened tea but my second cup of the day always seems to be a green tea. Plus, I have accrued a small stash of 52 tea bags over the last few months from the subscription box and need to catch up on.

Preparation: Western
Tasting Note: Yummm! This is a delight. The maple hits just right with this tea and it reminds me of french toast and maple syrup but I could see a Maple Rice coconut pudding too. No additional sweeteners or milks needed, I like this one exactly as it comes. :) I will be sad to see this one go, I think.

Delicious. Flavours were delivered as promised; a nice maple-coconut combo that worked well with the genmaicha.

Inhaled this (like usual). No memories except that it delivers on the maple, coconut, and rice flavours.
