Excited to try this one, I’ve heard a lot about it. My first impression is that this is going for a lot of the same notes as David’s Read My Lips (mint, chocolate, etc.) but I think this one actually does a better job of it. The mint in Read My Lips is so sharp, and the chocolate in it doesn’t meld well for some reason. Snow Day takes a milder approach and is better for it. Oddly, this does not smell good in the tin (David’s teas usually smell fantastic in the tin) and it doesn’t even smell much like peppermint, the main ingredient, it’s just some weird off smell. None of this is present in the flavor though, so all’s well that steeps well.
