swapping pure tea in Europe
Anyone living in Europe is up for swapping pure, not blended, not flavored, whole-leaf tea?
I ought to say that I own a teashop. However, it is not the intention of this swap to advertise my products. If you feel more comfortable with, I can send you tea of other vendors or just not mention if it is one of mine.
To help your swapping chances you should add some teas to your cupboard so that people can see what you have to swap. Some tasting notes would help too. :)
There’s also a Europe swap thread here: http://steepster.com/discuss/5157-eu-tea-swaps-for-the-euro-world-only
Thank you adagio. It is quite an old thread though. It should be ok to start a new one on the topic.
Inspired by one your post, here a few words about the tea I enjoy:
I drink exclusively Chinese tea. Nothing against all others; but the chinese are simply those I like the most :)
I by far prefer pure teas, with whole leaves only. I drink often black, dark oolong and white. Less often, but regularly, green, yellow, pu’er and low-oxidized oolong.
I go for quality rather than quantity. I do not own many teas, at least not many for being in the business; and I end up drinking only the best I have in the cupboard. If I don’t drink a tea for a while, I give it away to friends. They are happy and don’t feel being treated as a garbage :)
