One of the samples I plan to sipdown this year (from last year’s summer countdown by Nazanin). Cold brewed this overnight (16 hours maybe) 1 tbsp tea to 4 cups. a little weak!!
Spinach and cut grass. Drying on the tongue. Was a little hard to drink first thing in the morning, but the second half of the container I had after teaching dance and it was super refreshing.
Flavors: Asparagus, Astringent, Drying, Grass, Spinach

The last one from my Tea Thoughts countdown box!
This is so lovely cold. It has a rich and buttery flavor with oodles of starchy vegetal notes and soft grains. It’s a bit like drinking a somewhat more buttery green pea and asparagus gazpacho, but with hints of fuzzy apricot and cashews. Quite rich and yet refreshing at the same time! There’s a hint of bitterness, likely just from letting it steep too long. I’m not very consistent about how long I leave the leaves in my cold brew pitchers, but it’s served me well so far!
Flavors: Apricot, Asparagus, Astringent, Bitter, Butter, Cashew, Creamy, Grain, Lima Beans, Nuts, Peas, Smooth, Soybean, Vegetal

Brewed up a giant serving of this lovely today. I haven’t really felt like white teas lately but I was drawn to this one . Lovely floral notes of rose and what I would describe as honeysuckle and maybe a hint of lavender. As the tea cools, I’m also get some pretty strong melon flavors as well. Delicious!
With being in healthy quarantine, I thought this might be a good time to dig into my tea stash. Fingers crossed one of the many tea orders I placed this month will show up so I can have myself a lovely tea party.
