I really enjoy green rooibos, which is interesting as tend not to like red rooibos. Green rooibos lacks that medicinal smokiness that puts me off, instead offerring an fruitiness and a bit of a vegetal or herbaceous note. This particular variety seems to be of good quality and not as astringent as some I have had in the past. I drink it plain on occasion, but also like it as a base for blends. Today I added about a half teaspoon of rose water which pairs beautifully.

One of the first breakfast teas I tried. It was a bit of an adjustment, but I ended up making it my new baseline for my morning tea. A little malty.
