Not normally a white tea person, but this hit the spot this morning. It was a little bitter because I left the bag in way too long, but the sweetness of the peach balanced it out well; it ended up being robust enough for my second morning cup without kicking me in the face. Smells amazing too, and both smell & flavor is not obnoxiously peachy but definitely there. Used 1 Splenda & boiling water.

This tea was pretty awesome. The dried leaves have an oolong aroma, with an accept of butter and corn kernels. Steeped hot, 3.5 minutes, no additives. The aroma of the brewed tea is buttery, vegetal, and a hint of just popped corn (not strong, a hint). The flavor is smooth, sweet, buttery and a light vegetal base. Overall, very good oolong.

I went to Foodtown for the first time, and saw this tea at the organic section. AHH!! Local tea! I got excited and grabbed one that me and my bf would enjoy the most – genmaicha. This one is great! It is just like any genmaicha. It is just rice in here and no popcorn, but thats fine. This one gets a little bitter if it has been steeped for too long or if it has been left to cool a little. I think thats pretty standard though. Good tea! woo! I can’t wait to try other teas from Ducky Life Tea.

This is a great tisane for a hot day. Mint rich from smell to sip and a smooth spicy lean to it as well. I’m not usually one for peppermint blends, but if they’re balanced out with other ingredients, I can put up with it. Didn’t think mint and spice could work so well together. Duly noted

I don’t know why it took me so long to try this.

I guess it’s because I’ve had plain honeybush before, and I figured, I knew what I would be tasting. But that is not to say that I don’t enjoy it, because I really like honeybush. A pleasant, honey-like taste with a nutty background. A good, relaxing cuppa.

My first Ducky Life tea courtesy of Geoffrey! I’ve only recently been re-introduced to yerba mate after an rather lengthy avoidance (bad experience with a chocolate flavored one).

This one is really nice, despite having one of my spice frienemies, Ginger. Ginger is a fickle flavor for me, either being a big bully and trying to beat me up or taking care of me and giving me a warm hug. I’m definitely getting a hug this time.

This is a really gentle, warming ginger/mate blend. These two work with each other very well, and blend for a spicy, smooth, soothing cup. I can definitely see how this would be good for the sinuses; I feel like I’m breathing easier already!

Thanks for sending me some of this to try, Geoffrey! I think I’ll head over and stalk their website to see what else would be good to try (like I need more tea…).

LiberTeas is awesome and sent me a sample of this tea. It’s a really interesting tea. I can definitely see where they’re getting the buttery flavor. sssSSSMMMOOOTH!!! Nice and creamy and smooth. It gets vegetal, as TeaEqualsBliss noted, after the butter, but not in a buttered greens kind of way, but more of an aromatic vegetial thing.

I need to play with this more, because the overall flavor of the tea is a little weak. I need to let it steep longer, maybe the second infusion. But I like it.

This is a really good Oolong – the buttery flavor is intense with this one! Smooth, sweet, and creamy tasting.

Off to write a review for it! YUM!

This is a very nice Oolong, pleasantly sweet and buttery. I can definitely see why they named it popcorn and a movie – it has a smooth, buttery taste to it like a bucket of movie popcorn with extra butter!

This one I need to spend a little more time with before I write a full review, but, it will definitely be time well spent and time I’m looking forward to spending with this tea.

The description of this seemed to hit home so I had a cup. I could taste the peppery-gingerness, yes, and it seemed to help my stuffiness and clogged throat!

Was that TMI!? Sorry…lol…

See my previous review for a better taste description of this one, folks! Thanks!

I have been holding off on this one for a while only because of the INTENSE Ginger LiberTEAs mentioned in her review. I thought I would be daring today…so…here goes! (It was for this reason I under-infused on purpose!)

Okay…so…
I was ass+u+me(ing) this was going to be like the gingery-peppery type ginger. But…it IS ginger but it’s not peppery ginger…if that makes sense. The label does say SMOOTH yet strong Ginger…and you know what…this is perfectly correct! For this reason I am giving it extra points! I’m also giving it extra points because it IS tasty…MUCH tastier than I expected! I was getting a little hungry…let’s see if this tames my stomach for a little bit! LOL

WOW! I am VERY impressed with this one…considering I am not usually drawn to Ginger-type flavored teas/tisanes. NICE

A strong ginger flavor – very strong! I can taste the cinnamon and cardamom notes too, but, they are significantly softer than the ginger.

I really like how the ginger cuts through some of the flavor of the green yerba mate. I am not usually a big fan of green yerba mate, because I find the flavor to be a little too much for me – too vegetative, too earthy… just too much. But the green yerba mate is actually quite nice in this blend because the ginger offsets some of that vegetative earthiness and gives this a very palatable flavor.

This is still amazing! Totally popcorn! Totally Butter! Totally Awesome! Totally 80s???? Nah…high 90s! But…it does make me what to have an 80s movie marathon! LOL

The sample tins are awesome…the labels I LOVE…the website – YAY! The customer service…LOVELY! Now for the tea…

I’m not sure if it’s because of the name or it actually smells like this or not…but…
The loose leaf ACTUALLY SMELLS like corn kernels prior to popping! The taste is buttery, yes. The beginning of the sip is sweeter and then it turns a little bit vegetal but it’s a gentle veggie taste. This is nice! I’m honored to add it to my stash!

Another good tea name!

Oh — I saw mention of Ducky Life Tea somewhere the other day…I think it was a result of looking into the “Mad Pots of Tea.” Now I’m doubly-intrigued :)

Cofftea

And organic too! And they have give back teas:)

Batrachoid

Sounds like the perfect companion to vintage kung fu movie nights.

The taste of this tea is as good as it’s name.
We all need an Iron Goddess of Mercy in our lives, why not get her in a great cup of tea!

I love this tea – always reminds me of fall with the cloves. A great tea that everyone will love. One of my good friend’s keeps it in her office to offer her clients at meetings. I never turn down a cup!
