Oh, lucky me. :) I recently received a sample of Admari Tea’s WONDERFUL Tranquil Herbal Tea. It’s an extremely relaxing and pleasing blend, and it’s naturally caffeine-free (as most herbals are). Here’s the Admari website‘s blurb about Tranquil:
Serenity Now! It’s your time, choose the right tea. Enjoy tranquility in every cup with this calming and serene herbal blend. Need a break? Relax with Tranquil, a serene herbal infusion of calming chamomile, lavender and peppermint. Pure herbals are combined to create a lightly sweet, floral elixir of true serenity. After a long day find comfort with this naturally caffeine free blend.
This tea is from Admari’s “Relax” line of teas; their other two lines are “Active” and “Restore”. The Tranquil Herbal Tea was even better than I was expecting; the taste was very “floral” with only the tiniest hint of mint and sweetness. I was in the mood to unwind when I brewed this tea, and by the time I reached the bottom of the cup I was chillin’ like a villain. I definitely recommend this tea and can’t wait to get more for myself. You can find this tea on the Admari website; a canister of 15 pyramid bags is currently being offered for $11.99. Enjoy!
Earthy, austere. Mild tobacco, oak, and cinnamon bark. Not too sweet, not ashy. I like this one a lot. It’s rigid and structured yet pleasantly buoyant. Stiff walls embrace a jovial core.
Tastes like a good mood to me. Grave serenity that is not to be trifled with.
A calm, knowing smile.
Like the evening sun through a bedroom window, strokes of warm, subtle tones coalesce into a tea that is distinguished and soulful. Expect from the liquor a stone fruit sweetness and nuttiness that gently kisses the earth.
Deliberate.
If I am to have a comfort tea, this is it.
Preparation
Wow. Really, now, the folks at Admaritea have the oolong hook-up. The select few I’ve tasted so far are absolutely exceptional including this one.
It’s quite dark but not least bit charred and has a deep, decadent sweetness.
-————
The new batch is thinner, sadder.
Preparation
The scent of the dry leaf is very sweet and very fruity like fruit roll-ups. Awesome fruit roll-ups. Once steeped the leaf releases a scent of creamy vegetation.
And the liquor, yeah. . . nice. Think mango sticky rice and a green tea marshmallow gently folded into a raincloud.
Smooth and dreamy.
Preparation
Dark, headdy, with a menthol high note and black licorice undertone this tea is perfectly capable of kicking your grandma’s ass into the great beyond. Mine, not so much. It’s definitely more of a medicinal blend for those Newport Light smoking caffeine fiending yoga moms (and dads). You know the type.
Edit: well guess what . . . this concoction is delicious iced!
